Lebone Litho Printers acquires another Muller Martini - Web Press

Lebone Litho recently commissioned their state of the art Muller Martini – Concepta Web Press. The press, featuring 9 print units was configured to be able to turn the sheet at any point between the 9 units and this multiple perfecting capability gives Lebone Litho an incredible amount of versatility. The press was configured with roll to roll and roll to sheet capabilities. Lebone Litho also opted to fit a Martin Butt splicing unit to the front end of the press thereby introducing non stop feeding capacity to the press. Many clients request variable data numbering and or bar coding so Lebone Litho opted to fit an inline Kodak Versamark unit capable of handling these requests.
The press features full UV ink drying technology and all jobs printed on the press dry instantly after passing under the UV lamps and are therefore available for very quick subsequent processing. The press has an inline UV vanishing unit. The inline camera monitoring system ensures that colour and registration is perfectly maintained throughout the run and print quality is therefore of the highest standard. Make readies on the new Concepta are handled extremely efficiently, thanks mainly to the automatic plate registration and the CIP 4 data link from Prepress to the machine. All ink profiles are sent directly to the press from Prepress and ink ducts are set automatically thereby reducing makeready times substantially.
Lebone Litho acquired the Concepta Web press to satisfy an expanding client base with an ever-growing variety of print work including Security Printing, Mailing List Printing, Label Printing, Lottery Tickets, Ballot Papers, Commercial Web Printing and Business Forms.
